Dreaming, Chaos and the Network
Published May 22nd, 2006 in Reality, Dreaming, Chaos, NetworkDo you ever remember an event but are on the verge of not knowing whether it was a dream or reality? On a couple of occasions this has happened to me, where the dream was so real, and fitted into my life so perfectly that i could not tell the difference when i was actually in the dream. In a lot of cases, these dreams seem to help me in some practical (or spiritual) way and tend to strengthen my feeling - of just being alive..
Its my belief that the native, back down to complete basic fundamental essence of the universe is thought..
The realms of possibilities (quoted from by Deepak Chopra).
When we go back to sleep, we drift along in the ocean of thought, even it is possible for two people to have the same dream at the same time. While one side of the world is sleeping, the other is awake, almost like the people who are dreaming are the ones lending their brain to keep the other side of the world going.
Ever had random thoughts, things just bouncing around in there in your head? What is actually going on?
What created us is seemingly random mutations in dna but they are selective random mutations. Just like the selective random events occuring in the synapses, quantum events in the microtubules in your brain. In the quantum world there is no here and there, no up/down - no time and no space only selective randomness.
If every living thing is made out of one thing which is in essence our quantum layer, isn’t it plausable that we aren’t actually separate living entities but infact a mesh of interconnected conciousness predominately at the lowest level made of the quantum stuff?
Ok, why? The question i ask myself every day. Why does everything exist?
Well, if you were one, wouldn’t you get lonely? Imagine the most powerfull supercomputer on the planet, running the most advanced neural network, not connected to anything outside, what would you think without any stimulus?
Ok, nothing would happen without chaos.
This is a very important element, as chaos causes randomness. to slightly control chaos is selective randomness, almost like a resistance but more free-flowing.
I believe that we are networked, connected to the quantum layer and in this reality computing is giving us clues as to how it all works. We’ve had so many clues staring us in the face coming from technology that the only way we haven’t actually seen what is happening is that we are a part of what is happening.
You can use this knowledge to your advantage, All is not what it seems, get ready for a ride in the next article.
A lot of what you are referring to here is based on lucid dreaming. A dreamer can become aware that he/she is dreaming and control that dream. A lot of people mistake this for astral projection or OBE, however, what they are actually experiencing is a very lucid dream which is so real to them that they think it is in fact real, when it isn’t. Reading this actually made me think. If the mind without external stimuli has to take it’s stimuli from the imagination, wouldn’t someone get a better effect on LSD if all he had was his own imagination and nothing external to blur his mind. Try wearing a blindfold next time you take LSD, you may be surprised by the effect it has.
